Messages that visitors wrote

        At the end of the visits at Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, visitors left a note on our “Visitor’s Reflection Board”. Words like ‘Why?’ and ‘Never again’ appeared again and again. Some of them wrote of sorrow, and others of disbelief. It is difficult to describe how it feels to witness this history so closely. The emotions are complex—grief, anger, empathy, and a deep yearning for peace.

        At Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, history isn’t just remembered—it is felt in every step, every tree, every echo and every corner. They write their messages and express their feelings not just for the past, but for the future: ‘Never again.’
